My Parents

I'm dedicating this post to my parents. I have been thinking about them alot lately, just because of all the exciting things that have been and will be happening in their lives. Today in Relief Society, we talked about missionary work, and I just got SO excited for my parents to get to Paraguay and serve! I haven't always had the best relationship with my parents, most likely all my fault...but they never gave up on me, even when I had given up on myself. They never backed down, and honestly I can say that I am grateful for everything we have been through. They never once failed to mention how much they loved me, and still to this day every conversation or text message expresses love in some form or another. And now we are closer than ever...and I think they might even be sad to leave me! haha But I couldn't be any more grateful to my Heavenly Father for trusting my parents enough to send me to their family. I am grateful for the safe place that their home has become to me, and for the solid foundation of the gospel that is so present there. Even though it is bitter-sweet that they are leaving for three years, that is short in comparison to the ETERNITY that I will be able to spend with them! I love you Mom and Dad. Thanks for everything!
