i learned something at work today.

I was chatting with a girl today at work...and lately i've really been trying to relate with these girls. If there's one thing that I feel they all should know, and everyone single one of us should learn, it's that we all have the power to become who we want to be. I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them. Too many times, I think these girls [and alot of us] feel we have really been dealt poor hands in life. Maybe not had the strongest family relationships, or parents who were married or just tough living conditions....but its when we take what we've been given, and become our very best self, how Heavenly Father created us to be, is when we've conquered.
