past vs. present vs. future...

earlier today i was having a discussion with a friend... she said something that really struck me... she said, "scars remind us of where we've been, but it does not have to dictate where we are going..." now, i don't know if she came up with this quote, or heard it somewhere else, but i am so glad she shared it with me. i don't really know where i'm going with this blog post...but just thought i'd share what i learned!
